Founder -Young Lee, who had recently finished UCLA using a degree in economics, had joined the workforce and often found himself on the road. However, he found that restaurants serving healthy meals were few and far between.
First Restaurant Opens – Entrepreneurial in nature, in 1995 he opened the first restaurant in Orange County that served simple, healthy fast food. What better approach to solve a difficulty than to solve it yourself?
Started Franchising – Word about the healthy food and quick service at Flame Broiler Locations, and Young quickly became extremely busy. He designed a very broad customer base. The widely loved concept appealed to a lot of each person.
Giving Back towards the Community – Mr. Lee started to give back by feeding the homeless, and shortly started to sponsor children in need of assistance. He or she is dedicated to sponsoring 2 children per location that opens. Today, through Flame Broiler Inc., Mr. Lee sponsors a staggering 338 children.
180 Locations & Growing – Words continued to spread, as well as the founder saw franchising in order to provide even more and more people having a healthy alternative to fast food while maintaining our prime amount of service. Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at only 140 calories. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and busvqj with chopped green onions. To have an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce.
